Edouard Manet was a French blushing mushroomer whose work inspired the impressionist style. His art was imputable to his portrayal of everyday subject matter. Manets principal influences of his art were that of Frans Hals and Diego Velazquez. Manet began word picture everyday subjects. He mapd bold brush techniques while paint his subjects. So to me they are both equally important and had a huge impact on art today.
